A Tribute to Gage and Brandi

Mile High GSP Rescue said goodbye to its founding pup last night. Gage and Brandi and Al Anderson started MHGSP Rescue in 2008 out of great concern for the many GSPs who continue to be so in need of finding new, loving homes. Gage found his amazing mom in 2001 and it was instant joy and love for both of them. Our logo at the top of this page is Gage so he has a permanent and prominent place.

Most GSPs are such sweet dogs but Gage was one of the dearest of the breed – so affectionate, loving to lie with his momma Brandi, so gentle, with such amusing and beguiling antics. Gage helped to create this rescue. We will miss him so but he will be in our hearts and with us always on our website.

Brandi, we are heartbroken for you for the empty place Gage has left. We know what a very special and huge part of your life he has been. Gage knew and felt your love every second of his life with you. And he adored you as much. Such gifts you have been to each other. Thank you for sharing your sweet Gage with us.
