Bailey
Hi, I’m BAILEY, a 2–3-year-old female GSP. I am a beautiful, fun and quirky girl that has some typical German Shorthair characteristics and some things that a potential family should know about me so I can find the perfect home!
I thrive when I have a routine and structure in my day-to-day activities. I am very food motivated and am working on basic manners along with some basic behaviors while I have my meals. I am very active and need daily exercise that is both physical in nature and mental. I love playing fetch and playing with other dogs.
I am kenneled trained and can sleep in the kennel at night but do enjoy lying in bed and snuggling with my future family. I do sleep through the night and will also sleep in when possible. I am housebroken but still working on learning how to tell my foster family that I need to go outside. I do love socks and shoes so my new family will need to help me learn that those are not for me to chew on and make sure that they aren’t around for me to grab. I am working on walking on a leash but still do pull because all I want to do is run! I guess that makes me a true GSP.
I travel really well in the car and enjoy spending time with my foster family at sporting events, trips to the mountains and running errands. I would love to be part of lots of future adventures including learning to run off leash so my family and I can run (they might want to walk!) in fields and in woods. I can’t wait to have my very own family!
