Bentley – ADOPTED!
UPDATE: October 19, 2018
Hi, my name is Bentley but my foster dad and mom call me Benny. Mom said I am one of the best foster kids they have ever had! I have a small issue with my back left leg, though. Being a GSP, I have a strong prey drive. My previous neighbors in Kansas were yummy chickens, but their humans didn’t like my hunting them and would shoot me with a pellet or BB gun when I would get on their property. Mile High GSP rescue took me to the Dr. and he said there were too many pellets or BB’s and they were too deep to remove. I carry that leg quite a bit but if I am running or playing, I use it pretty well!
I really like to play (maybe part of me is Boxer because I like to box when I play!) My foster parents think my ideal forever home would be with someone who is home most of the day or has another young dog to play with. Although I have been really good, they ‘re pretty sure I could get bored and mischievous if I were by myself too long. In fact, I’ve been known to be destructive if I don’t have another dog or a person at home with me. Dad likes that I am cuddly and we watch TV together and I take naps with Mom. I lay at their feet when they are working at the computer (however, I would prefer to be on their laps).
If you need some cuddly company and have a dog that need a playmate, I am the pup for you.
PS: Dad says Mom is really hard to impress. He said I have gotten under her skin, in a good way, and will be sad when I find my forever home.
