Blaze – ADOPTED!

Hi! My name is Blaze, I am an English Pointer and the vet believes I’m about 3 years old. I was found roaming a field in Kansas by myself and picked up by a very nice person and eventually found my way to Colorado with Mile High GSP. My foster parents have been spending a lot of time with me trying to get to know me and I am just full of surprises and fun! Some of my favorite things to do are snuggle on the couch, run outside, and play with other dogs in my foster home. My Foster Mom says I’m just the sweetest boy ever and I have an awesome pretty laid back personality. I am well behaved but my Foster Parents think I may not have been an inside dog so I still have some things to learn. I’m not a fan of crates and would prefer a home where I don’t have to stay in one. My Foster Parents have been letting me run the house with the other dogs when they are gone and I have been a good boy.

I really like being around people so I would need a home where I’m not left alone for really long periods of time on a regular basis. I also really need another dog (or 2) around my age to play with and keep me company. I like to play and wrestle so an older dog would not be the best companion for me. My Foster Parents also have cat and I get along with her really well too. I do really well off leash playing with my Foster Parents outside and would love a place where I can get lots of off leash running. I do really well on a leash when we go out so I would do great with some who likes to go on walks or runs as well. My Foster Dad has even tested my hunting knowledge and says someone has definitely worked with me and I have a lot of potential to be a great hunting buddy! I have pointed at a pheasant dummy and I am not gun shy. I’m sure hoping that my new owner or family will let me the chance do some hunting.

I love spending nights curled up on the couch with my foster parents and my favorite place to sleep at night is curled up next to them on the bed. I’m really great with kids as well. I love hugs and to snuggle so who wouldn’t like a little one giving you hugs and cuddling with you all the time? I really can’t wait to find my forever home with a family that will show me as much love and devotion as I will show them.
