Daisy – ADOPTED!
I’m Daisy, a 6 month-old purebred GSP. I’m living with my family which includes my female littermate. My mom and dad brought the two of us into their family at the same time and didn’t realize what a challenge two female littermates can be. We sure have a lot of fun together but our behavior can get out of hand and our training goes out the window! We also are sometimes aggressive with each other but not with people or other dogs. My mom and dad realize that we really should have gone to different homes because female littermates very often aren’t compatible. After all, there can only be one alpha in a dog pack. My mom thinks I’m probably the alpha with my sister.
I’m crate trained and mostly house trained, too. When I need to go outside I stand by the door and whine (but just a little). I know a few commands like stay and down and also understand uh-uh (no). I’m still in the early training stage so I need more work on not jumping up and sometimes counter surfing. I also need more work on walking on a leash although I’m much better using a Gentle Leader. I have a lot of energy so I love playing outside but I really like my time inside, too. It’s really nice to sit by the heater and just snooze. But the best is to snuggle. I love that the most!
I‘m still just a puppy so my personality is still developing but my mom says I am a very friendly, happy, and affectionate little girl. Although I don’t know how I would be around cats because I’ve never been with one, I do like other dogs.
