This is sweet little ECHO, a purebred GSP who had a very close call yesterday. Her mom and dad noticed she wasn’t acting right in the morning and when she couldn’t get up and walk to them they scooped her up and took her to an emergency vet. She is only 2 years old but was diagnosed with Addidson’s Disease. The vet said if they hadn’t taken Echo to a hospital yesterday, she would have probably not made it through the day. She has been in intensive care and her mom and dad are, of course, shattered. Because her care is quite expensive and they are a military family, her mom and dad asked for the rescue’s help in finding Echo another wonderful home. This is a devastating sacrifice for them but they realize that Echo needs a lifestyle and ongoing medications that they can’t provide right now.
