Elwood and Jake – Must Be Placed Together – ADOPTED!

We are 12-year-old purebred GSPs, Elwood and Jake, male littermates and, sadly, we need to find a new home. Our dad has to move to the east coast because his elderly dad is very ill and, because he is immune compromised, we can’t go there to live with them. We need to stay together but we are so easy that we should be really easy to have as family members. We are housebroken, know basic commands and are leash trained but we are fine off-leash as well. We love to play and go on walks and runs. Typical GSPs! But we are also very friendly, gentle and affectionate. We love to be with people, including kids and toddlers, and love to meet anyone new.. We are just fine with other dogs but we don’t know about cats. However, our dad says we are very trainable so we could probably learn to be fine with them. When the rescue asked dad what our challenging traits might be, he told them we don’t have any. We are just happy, friendly, playful, loving pups who, unfortunately, need to find a new family who would be happy to make us part of their family.
