Goose – Adopted!

I’m another new pup in town . . . GOOSE is my name! I’m almost 4 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs, pretty typical for a male GSP. My current owners are wanting to find me a new home where I’ll be happier because their other pup, also 4 years old, and I don’t always see eye to eye. The fact that he’s not neutered might have something to do with us not getting along but I might not be good with other male dogs either. I would probably be OK with a female dog but I’ve heard my mom say I definitely shouldn’t be with cats! Actually, as an alpha personality, I’d probably be just fine as an only dog as long as my new family doesn’t leave me alone a lot because I really like being with people and have been known to get anxious and even destructive if I spend too much time by myself. I know a lot of basic commands and, apparently, I have had some hunt training. I don’t like being in a crate so will get anxious if I’m crated. Although I’m a GSP, I don’t seem to need hours and hours of running. But I like off-leash time and enjoy just kind of hanging out and lounging in the sun. My current mom and dad describe me as friendly, happy, adventurous and gentle. But I can also be kind of reserved and independent.
