Luna – ADOPTED!

Hi, I am Luna, a 2-year-old GSP mix. I am a very sweet and gentle pup who is hoping to find a new home with someone who will let me be a special and loving member of their family.
My current family has other dogs and they tend to be pretty dominant over me. And because I am rather timid and submissive, I don’t get a lot of attention so I am really looking forward to having my very own family.

I know some basic commands like stay, come, down and off. And I am potty trained but if I’m left inside too long, I may have an accident. I’m not well trained on a leash yet so I’ll need some work on that. I haven’t been crate-trained because I’m allowed to go in and outside during the day. I love having access to being outdoors in my fenced yard where I can run around and have fun playing with sticks. But inside I’m pretty mellow. We have dog pillows but I do sometimes get on the sofa, too. At night I sleep inside usually on my dog pillow.

I really like other pups and love to play with them. I’m not a good friend to cats, though. I’ll chase them any time I can. I am, after all, part GSP, which means I have a strong prey drive. And I love my people, in fact, all people. My mom says that because I have such a gentle temperament I am good with children, even young ones.

I am such a friendly, affectionate and lovable little girl, a very happy pup. My mom feels that what I need is a family who will give me a chance to blossom and not be overwhelmed by another dog with a strong personality. I can hardly wait to be part of a family who will play with me, let me cuddle and snuggle with them, and who will give me lots of good exercise every day.
