Maisel – Adopted
Hello! My name is Maisel. I am a purebred GSP and I’m a very sweet and loving 5–year–old girl. I am also a very tiny “pocket pointer” and once I gain all the weight that I need to, I’ll probably still be under 40 pounds. I was found abandoned in an apartment in New Mexico. It was very traumatic but since then, things have gotten much better. I love the people in my Colorado foster home and enjoy snuggling and giving kisses. I love kids very much. I prefer older kids as they can help take care of me. I am the most well–behaved little girl and know sit, down, shake, kennel up, come here, and many other commands. I love being able to sleep in a dog bed next to my humans and I sleep really well so please do not make me sleep in a crate. I love car rides as that usually means we are going to do something fun. I sit nicely and calmly in the car and sometimes take a nap.
I absolutely love my toys but sometimes a little too much. I get possessive of them. I would prefer to be an only dog so I can have all the toys to myself! I am social and have fun at dog parks. I will play with other dogs but oftentimes will want to meet the other people and get attention from them. I’m not sure what I would do with a cat and I do have a prey drive so it’s probably best for me not to be in a family with cats. I absolutely love my evening walks and walk pretty well on a leash. Although I am a pocket pointer I am very strong so I do pull on a leash. Even though I am crate trained, my foster family is using it less because I am so good in the house. I use the doggie door to go outside to potty and I am very respectful of my foster family’s things. I haven’t chewed on anything other than toys and bones. I am not a destructive little girly but I will steal your heart for sure! If you are loo
I’m your girl! I am definitely a marvelous miss Maisel!
