Milo – ADOPTED!
Here comes MILO, a 4-5 year-old GSP mix . Her owner found her with her mother and brother, wandering by the side of a highway in AZ when she was just a puppy. She couldn’t leave them there, so she scooped them up and brought them to her home in CO. She just couldn’t let Milo go so she kept this little pup. Her mom says she is so very sweet, a real Velcro girl, and is very well trained as well, including on an e-collar. She is, however, leery of strangers, not comfortable if they try to pet her. But after she knows someone, she loves them. Milo likes dogs she knows but does not do well with dogs who are strangers to her. She and the other female dog she has lived with have had altercations, mostly initiated by the other dog. There has definitely been an alpha struggle. The other dog has already been re-homed. Because of her busy schedule as a student and working as well, her mom has realized that Milo really needs more time and attention from a person or family who has lots of hours to spend with her.
She has rarely been left alone and has shown some separation anxiety if she’s alone for very long. That sounds like a typical GSP! She might be best as the only dog in a family. This little girl would be so happy to have a person of her own, someone to spend many happy snuggling hours and lots of adventure time with someone she can give huge love to and who will love her back every single day!
