Sophie – Adopted

Oh All the way from Arkansas . . . that’s me, Sophie. I am a 7- month – old GSP mix and am so excited to be coming to Colorado. I’m hoping to be here the week of June 23 so will need a foster home or a family who wants to make me part of their family right away.

I have been living in a wonderful foster home in Arkansas and have been house trained and spend time both in and outdoors. In fact, I’m living on a farm so there are all kinds of animals around including a sheep, ducks and chickens. I don’t really bother them but  I have tried to play with them. They are not interested in that! I’m good on a leash but I really like being able to be off a leash because I love playing and running with other dogs and would definitely like to have at least one other dog in my new family. I love being with my people and am pretty good about going to them when they call for me. I really enjoy children and my foster says I am  great with them! I’m a little cautious around new people but I eventually like to be with them. It doesn’t take me long to wag my tail and ask for attention. When a friend of my foster mom asked about me, what I was like, she said that I was just a perfect little girl who loves to be with everyone and will play with anyone who wants to play. Once the rescue knows more about me, they will give you lots more details!
