Whiskey – ADPOTED!
What I need most in my new home:
- My very own person that I can love forever and enjoy the outdoors with.
- Lots of play, and to be stimulated (I am pretty smart)
- A loving family or person that loves a Velcro dog
- A kennel for the time being as it is my safe place and home.
- Loads of active time and an owner that loves to be as active as I am
My name is Whiskey and I am a 7-month-old GSP/Cattle dog mix. With that kind of mix, you guessed it: I’m full of energy and very smart.! Once I’m inside, I’m extremely affectionate and love to rest my head on your lap or knee. Ear scratches are the absolute best and my favorite. Despite being Velcro, I do okay when left alone though I may whine in my kennel at first.
My foster family says I am already showing excellent recall and while I love to explore, my number one job right now is to please you.
I am smart and would love for you to teach me some tricks .I am mostly house trained and believe I would be 100% if I had in and out privileges. I’ve had a few accidents but overall am very good with my potty training!
I like to pull a lot on the lead as humans are just too slow sometimes! This is probably my greatest opportunity for improvement. 😉 I am currently living with a foster dog and love playing with other dogs. A house with another dog would be great, but my number one priority would be YOU, my new person.
I know I can be the best boy with a lot of patience, love, and training. I had a rough go of it with my first owner before they surrendered me to the humane society. I wasn’t socialized or trained but I am trying to work on it with my foster dad.. If you give me your love and patience, I’ll give you more love than you could ever handle. I’m a beautiful boy just trying to do my best and to please my humans! Please take me home if it sounds like you might be a great match with me:)
