Sophie’s Success Story!

Let us introduce you to Sophie! A GSP/GWP mix, Sophie came into our rescue at the end of Februry 2015 and was adopted less than 5 days later. She was with us such a short time because one of our former adopting families, Jim and Mary Woodruff, said, “We want her” before we could even get her on the website. Jim and Mary have another GWP, Gunner, who is the most hilarious GWP we’ve ever met. He makes you laugh just to look at him! When they realized, over a year and a half ago that Gunner needed a buddy, they adopted our wonderful GSP, Diesel.

It’s obvious they can’t get enough of these pointers because as soon as we mentioned Sophie to them they were on their way to adopt her, pretty much sight unseen. We can’t blame them! Sophie’s owner, Katie, did such amazing training with her sweet pup. Sophie is so well behaved, cuddly, and pretty adorable as you can see. And does she LOVE her new brothers. Jim and Mary no longer live in the Denver area, but,with barely enough time to throw a suitcase in the car, he drove 7 hours to pick her up, in a week we had one of our biggest snows. Going back over the mountains was pretty much a nightmare, all the more so because of his precious cargo.

Now they are a family of 5 with Mary and Jim in the minority.  Sophie has a new home . . . an active, loving, comfy home with two amazing brothers and a mom and dad who have plenty of time to spoil them all rotten!
